We’re back to normal training this week – plus news from Bexhill cross-country

It’s back to normal this week with the circuits group re-starting on Tuesday – but please note that it will be outdoors. And then on Thursday evening it’s training for everybody at Imberhorne.

And also on Thursday evening there is the opportunity to do some indoor sprinting and/or hurdling at Horsham. £3 will get you 3 races – £6 will get you 6 races if you want to do both sprints and hurdles.

We had just 3 athletes competing last weekend in the Sussex Cross-Country Championships in Bexhill. As it poured with rain on Saturday you won’t be surprised to know that the course was very wet and muddy and, in some parts, the standing water was well over the ankles. However our 3 athletes did very well with both Tom Dean (under 15) and Ewan Dallas (under 17) coming 9th in their races. In the under 13 girls race Erin Harnett found the going hard work but did well to finish 23rd. Well done to all 3 athletes.
