This week’s weather and its possible effect on training sessions
As most of you will know we are due to have some unpleasant weather this week – very cold and frosty and some snow. If we have to cancel any of our training sessions we will get messages onto our website and our facebook pages about an hour before the sessions are due to start.
It’s been rather remiss of me not to have told you that, a couple of weeks ago, Maddie broke a leg on a school ski-ing holiday over the half-term week. She has an operation to start the recovery and she is now back home. We wish her well and hope for a full recovery.
All-England Cross-Country Championships
Well done to Isaac Lancaster, Antonia Deeley and Ethan Scott for taking part in the All-England Cross-Country Championships last Saturday at Parliament Hill Fields in North London. Ethan, wearing the vest of his first claim club Aldershot was seventh in the under 13 race which had nearly 600 finishers (including Isaac) while Antonia’s under 15 girls race had close to 500 finishers.
